Sequestering action of the Cellumend anti-cellulite cream

TRIPEPTIDE GHK - help to prevent cellulite

Although Cellumend cream has been developed to help remove cellulite, and to help prevent it from forming, some interesting, and very positive, effects were found when the clinical trials were done on one of the active ingredients of Cellumend.

Skin aging is accelerated by normal processes such as lipid peroxidation and it has been found that tissues affected by skin aging contain higher and elevated levels of reactive , ß-unsaturated aldehydes, such as 4-Hydroxy-2-nonenal(HNE), Malondialdehyde (MDA) and Acrolein.

The biotech company who developed the one active ingredient in Cellumend has found, in collaboration with the University of Milan, that Tripeptide GHK is a potent aldehyde sequestering agent and this is currently under patent application.

This benefit of capturing lipid peroxidation by-products, is over and above the effective effect it has on eliminating cellulite and preventing it from forming.
